Apr 2, 2014 · 2008 Ranger 700XP running problems. I have a 2008 Polaris Ranger 700XP with 9200 miles on it. After running for about 10-20 minutes the machine acts like it is starving itself for fuel. It does this only after the machine has warmed up. Example 1: We was burning pasture last night and I was moving slowly in low gear to spray out a small fire line. I think I fried my ECM, 2016 ranger 6x6 Guys, I was putting a fused power cable direct to my battery and I arced my wrench from postive to I am assuming the computer, just for a second now it will not start I am supposed to go hunting in the morning. Any help would be appreciated. Dealer said that whoever at Polaris didn't snap the connector together properly, and while trail riding in the Black Hills, it finally came apart. It turns out that the alternator, and the belt that runs between the a/c and alternator was just fine. You won’t be able to tell if it’s cracked until you pull the sprague and squeeze it to see they are detached. Jul 5, 2015 · I have recharged the batt (13.2v). I checked the ac volts from the stator and in a nutshell at 1000rpm 19.6v, 3000rpm 45v and 5000rpm 74v. So it now points to the regulator. Now to contact Polaris and see if they will repair under goodwill as my ranger is 10 moths old and only 890 km (550 mi) Crossing my fingers!!

Electronics these days either work or they don't. Check your fuel-pressure first and make sure your tank-vent is not plugged. Water in the fuel will act like yours also. The hose comes from the tank to the pump then the inline filter then to the driver side to the carb. It is a black hose that is about 1/4 inch I.D. The fuel pump will have two wires to it. Once you have the seat off, turn on the key and you will hear the pump run for a few seconds.
